Yogurtland
Today, I finally had a chance to try out the new Yogurtland in University District with my roommate Christine. It's a beautifully warm and sunny day, frozen yogurt accompanied the weather quite nicely.
I definitely don't have a lot of skill in my own frozen yogurt making. I ended up having a little bit of four different flavors: strawberry, almond chocolate mocha, red velvet cupcake batter, cookies & cream. As toppings, I got some strawberries, caramel chocolate, sour gummy worms, chocolate syrup, and of course - sprinkles!
Although my brain was bigger than my stomach, it made for a delicious[ly healthy, ha] lunch!

Go to a 21+ club
Friday night, I had the lovely opportunity to go to The Ballroom in Fremont for my friend Mandana's 21st birthday party. Although this lounge isn't an exclusive "club", I decided I'd count it as a part of my "Go to a 21+ club" goal because there was an entire room devoted to dancing (equipped with cages and a pole!)
I had a few drinks, to say the least, and couldn't tell you what songs the DJ played while we danced - but I had a blast hanging out with friends! There were a lot of pool tables, as well as a lot of seating. The only downside of this place was the $2 coat-check, but I guess that will happen sometimes. Here are a couple more of my favorite photos!

Fremont Sunday Market
My roommate and I bussed to the Fremont Farmer's Market this morning in hopes of finding some local, fresh produce. However, we did get to see a bunch of super cool booths, sip on delicious smoothies, and visit a park along the Burke Gilman trail. When we were walking to the bus stop, we happened to pass PCC - an organic, semi-local, natural grocery store! Since we are starting to follow the Paleo diet tomorrow, we popped in and bought lots of yummy things.
Such a successful day! The sun always needs to be out in Seattle.

Flying Apron Bakery
This bakery is not only gluten-free and vegan - but delicious! I got a berry scone [so good] and iced green jasmine tea. Awesome atmosphere in the bakery/cafe. Great coffee. I definitely plan on going to this bakery again.

The Space Needle
My sister, who is currently choosing between attending UW or NYU in the fall (rough life, right?), decided to come up to Seattle last night so I could show her around campus. Whilst on campus, I showed her: the Quad, Red Square, the fountain, Reboot cafe/CSE building, Kane hall (we crashed the first 10 minutes of a Chemistry class), Suzzallo & Odegaard libraries, and the W on 45th.

Once we returned back to my house, we decided (on a whim) to take the bus down to the Pacific Science Center/Space Needle. I'm super lucky to have a bus stop less than a block away that can take me on the Ave, to Fremont, and to the Science Center.

After paying a hefty $19 per ticket, we entered the elevator of the Space Needle. The employee working on the elevator informed us that it was moving upward at 10MPH. It was really fun riding it because there were big, glass windows that allowed you to see how fast you were moving.

Despite the cold wind on the observation deck, it was really cool to see all of Seattle. It was neat to be able to identify a lot of the neighborhoods. We ate (expensive) snacks while at the top, then (eventually) bussed back to my house.
Sometimes, spontaneous adventures are my favorite kind of adventure.
